10 Point Scoring System
- Appearance - considers shape, overall look of wrapper, head and foot, quality of roll and construction, and overall presentation including label and packaging.

- Flavor - considers depth of flavor, general enjoyment of cigar, and general interest and experience.

- Burn - considers quality of draw, thickness of smoke, ashing, and issues with touch-up and re-lighting.

- Value - considers the price of the smoke in relation to the other scores/categories, gauging the value of the cigar. Helps users determine if a cigar is really “worth it”.

- Overall Experience – all scores from above categories are averaged to provide the reader with an Overall Experience rating on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being absolutely amazing.

Customer Service – Considers the customer service available to a consumer should it be needed and includes any interaction with the review and the company customer service department. Also considers any online shopping experiences.
