Not that we are questioning your intelligence but we often find that new cigar smokers are hesistant when it comes to water being around their cigars. Thats why we decided to go ahead and make “How To” articles for different maintenance activities that might come up.
The Humi-Care Pillows are fairly new to us and were supplied to us by our new friends at Cigar.com. Not that they went out of their way to send them to us – in fact, t
hey were included gratis with an order we had put in.
Step 1 - Fill a small bowl with about a 1/4″ of distilled water (if available) or tap water.
Step 2 - Open the Humi-Care plastic baggie and remove the pillow
Step 3 – Soak the pillow in the water for at least 20 seconds, completely submerging it.
Step 4 – Dry excess or dripping water from the pillow and place back in the Humi-Care bag.
Step 5 - Place the Humi-Care Pillow in your temporary storage or humidor!
Remember, the Humi-Care Pillow will provide up to 67% humidity to 15-20 cigars so be sure to have the right amount on hand!
